The Game never was Happiness

"Happiness depends upon ourselves." That quote by Aristotle makes perfect sense to me. I have always thought that humans are the most complex and difficult to understand creatures on the face of the earth. Now I have a philosopher who agrees with me. What Now.

The Home Run that made them lose *the game*

One of my favorite things about technology is that we get to watch movies and get on the computer. Today we watched as a baseball team helped the opposing team win. One of the other team members was injured after hitting a home run. Her team could not help her, so the other team did.

Stevie Lost The Game

I recently heard a story titled: "Something for Stevie". If you haven't heard/read the storie, I highly suggest doing so. I know four children in my ward with down syndrome, three are adorable, the teenager isn't. As hard as he's trying to fit in, he's making good progress, but he still bothers some people in church. Don't get me wrong, he's awesome. All people with disabilities are awesome.

Mark Twain lost the game

I agree that you will be dissapointed more by what you didn't do more than what you did do. More people say that nothing you didn't do could be worse than what you did do, but I disagree.

Veteran's Day

Ha ha! I fooled you, it's not Veteran's Day today. It's tomorrow. I wore my glasses and my beanie today and I got a Veteran's Day Pin that only has 48 stars on the american flag. My paletal expander is so annoying, I find that I can only ennunciate when I'm typing.

One Man Band-------------He lost the game

After watching the movie one man band, by Pixar, I realize that language differences aren't always as much as a problem as you think they are. Everyone already has a knowledge of body language and music, though how they interperet the things they hear and see are very different.

Lifted The Game

In tech today, we watched Disney Pixar's "Lifted". I've seen this clip several times before though this was possibly the best time. It shows how we don't need words to communicate with others in a humorous light.

Courage

I find that many people are supposedly afraid of death, but I find that dying won't hold many suprises for me. I know where I'm going, and that's all that matters. So am I demonstrating courage right now? I don't really think so, I just think I'm calm, rather than couragous.
